Meet the PSP Team
We would like to introduce you to some of our key personnel.
PSP is a family run, privately owned business with a team of logistics experts with at least 400 years combined experience and knowledge of the freight and maritime industry. If you need a price for shipping a container or sending a parcel, or need advice on a logistics project or for a seemingly impossible logistical task, call a member of the team for help!

Frank Dixie
Founder and Managing Director
- Frank moved from London to Hampshire in 1978 and following market assessment needs, formed his own company Chandler Freight Lines, now PSP Logistics.
- Frank was named ‘Business Entrepreneur of the Year’ in 2012 at the South Coast Business Awards due to his willingness and ability to take risks to establish himself. Frank is a go-getter and the reason why the company is so successful today!
- Frank owns a beautiful pub in Wickham, Fareham called The Square Cow
- He is a passionate musician playing in his own 11 piece band and is also a diehard Chelsea fan.
Shaun Parsons
Director of Marine
- Shaun’s commitment to PSP goes back to 1978 when it was Chandler Freight Lines Ltd.
- Since September 2000, Shaun has been a Director and Board member and now heads up all things Marine for the business.
- Shaun is a lifetime Southampton FC fan, a keen golfer and used to be a Semi-professional DJ back in his day!
Darron Strange
Finance Director
- Darron has worked for PSP since 2006 and since joining, has brought extensive commercial experience to the company. He was invited on to the board as Finance Director to provide a permanent, senior financial presence.
- He is a keen sportsman and athlete. He has a passion for Wolverhampton Wanderers and can be seen driving up the M40 every other weekend to wave the flag.
- He celebrated his 48th birthday by running the London Marathon for charity!
Alex Dixie
Operations Director
- Alex has worked at PSP since 2001 and is now the Operations Director and our Dangerous Goods Specialist.
- Alex has an IT background which comes in handy when dealing with day to day computer issues and loves the complexities and fast moving demands of airfreight!
- With Dixie blood, he has been brought up to be a Chelsea fan and has loved the blues through the good and the bad! (mostly good). He is also musically talented and part of a rock band!
Jo Dixie-Goodwin
HR & Marketing Director
- Jo has been working at PSP since 2006 and is the HR and Marketing Director. She also managed the company’s sponsorships and the PSP Logistic’s entry in the Clipper Race.
- Jo comes from a creative background having worked as an underwater videographer for years in Thailand and is now CIPD Level 5 qualified in HR and has completed (and passed) a gruelling 2 year MBA in Strategic Leadership.
- Jo frequently walks her 2 dogs, visits the pub and likes to grow her own vegetables. She loves to travel despite her fear of flying and can turn anything into a song!
Mike Austin
Sales Director
- Mike joined PSP fresh faced from school in 2000 and since then, has learned every facet of the business.
- Mike is now Sales Director after experiencing everything from running the airfreight and courier division to setting up an office in Vietnam.
- Mike boasts vast knowledge of the freight industry and takes pride in his professional development.
- He is a keen golfer, darts player and is learning the drums!
Martin Rodgers
Packing/Compliance Manager
- Martin has been with us at PSP since 2016 as our Dorset site manager
- He served 15 years in the army and represented England in Martial Arts
- He loves fishing and motorbikes
Rob Knight
Senior Logistics Coordinator
- Rob has worked for PSP since 2007.
- He started in accounts and has worked in most departments (Accounts, courier, air, sea but not packing…yet) and has great knowledge of special regulations for most countries.
- He enjoys playing snooker, touring the UK in his Campervan and spending time with his children.
- Rob once ran up Mount Vesuvius for fun.
Liam Ledbury
Financial Assistant
- Liam has worked for PSP since December 2018 and is a valuable member to the Accounts team.
- He served in the Navy for nearly 7 years and brings his regimented approach to the world of Accounts, ensuring everything runs smoothly and accurately here at PSP.
- Liam was awarded 2 medals during his service: Operations medal and an Op Telic medal.
- In his spare time, Liam likes to go wild camping and on walks with his Labrador, Ellie.
Matt Bullock
Operations Manager
- Matt first started working at PSP in 2004
- He originally started out in the warehouse as a packer and then moved on to casemaking until he was handpicked for the Operations team. He is now Alex’s second in command and an asset to the team.
- In his spare time Matt enjoys mountain biking, squash and attending gigs.
- Matt is also PSP’s eligible bachelor so you may recognise his photo from one (or two) dating sites!
Matt Huxted
Project Manager
- Matt has worked for PSP since 2017, after joining from another freight forwarder.
- Matt lives and breathes logistics and is a qualified Project Manager for both Sea & Air Freight. He is PSP’s safe pair of hands, managing complex projects from inception to completion!
- Matt plays just about every type of guitar, enjoys long walks with his dog and is in a band with other PSP members.
Chrissy Anslow
Logistics Operator
- Chrissy has worked for PSP since 2016.
- She is a key operator in the operations departments with her key specialism being in Air Freight and Exports.
- Chrissy is a self confessed Netflix Binger and since announcing her favourite shows are serial killer documentaries, we all do well to stay on her good side!
- When she was 13, she won drum major 3 years in a row at the National Sea Cadet Championships and is now a part of the amazing Batala Portsmouth, a samba-reggae percussion band.
Hannah Clark
HR Assistant
- Hannah joined PSP when she was 18 years old after giving hair dressing a go and deciding it wasn’t for her.
- She loves forest walks, exploring nature, singing whilst washing up and her adorable boys.
- Hannah once stayed 24 hours on a life raft to raise money for Sail for Cancer.
Brian Woods
Marine Manager
- Brian has been at PSP since the very beginning and is our yacht transport guru.
- He loves extreme sports especially snow boarding and wakeboarding and plays in a 5 a side football team.
- Brian is a loadmaster and has loaded over 2000 yachts and motorboats for PSP.
Patrycja Asztemborska
Freight Operator and Customs Clearance
- Patrycja is from Rybnik in Poland and has lived in Southampton since 2009.
- Her favourite job is being a mummy and in her spare time she is very creative and in particular loves making Macrame and restoring furniture.
- Patrycja loves all kinds of music and enjoys playing the acoustic guitar around the campfire.
Jamie Duffell
Finance Manager
- Jamie has been working in the finance team at PSP since 2012.
- His first job was as a paperboy and he had always dreamed of being in the marines, but finance seemed to suit him better.
- Jamie doesn’t like cats but doesn’t mind dogs.
Olivia Robinson
Freight Operator
- Olivia joined PSP in 2021 as part of the operations team.
- In her spare time and enjoys upcycling furniture and interior design.
- Olivia’s favourite weekend activity is to go walking in the woods with her two Golden Retrievers.
Simon Hill
Freight Operator
- Simon has been at PSP since 2017
- He started off working in packing at our Dorset site but has now joined our operations team
Lezlee Rodgers
Packing department administrator
- Lezlee has been with us since 2021 and is a part of the packing team
- She loves being Nonna to her four wonderful grandchildren
- She was born in the beach in Ghana
- Lezlee has a number of interesting stories to tell, including looking after Morgan Freemans granddaugter and sharing a lift with Muhammed Ali!
Ben Haste
Freight Operator
- Ben joined us in 2022 as an apprentice in the operations department
- He plays 6 a side football every week and supports Portsmouth FC
- He enjoys listening to house music in his spare time
Morgan Scott
Finance Apprentice
- Morgan joined us in 2023 as an apprentice in the accounts department
- He used to have a pet frog called Franck, named after a character in the film ‘Father of the bride’
- He also enjoys gaming in his spare time
